Workshop Design of Experiment
The workshop will be held on the 12 and 13th of September from 19:00 to 22:00 at the Computer Laboratory of Mine Engineering course/FENG/UFG.
When analyzing a process, experiments are often used to evaluate which process inputs have a significant impact on the process output, and what the target level of those inputs should be to achieve the desired result.
Design of Experiment (DoE) is a useful tool in process development. DoE provides significant information by reducing the necessary time and cost. It makes planning and analyzing experiments clear, compact, and statistically justified.
After a short introduction of designed experiments, we will learn about different types of design and when and how to apply them. There will be many practical exercises using a DoE-software.
Previous knowledge is not necessary.
